マメ科アカサヤマメノキ。最近、エバーフラッシュと言って観葉植物として人気。ネムノキと同じく、夜は葉を閉じて寝る。名前の由来のアカサヤはマメの莢が鮮やかな赤色でとてもきれいなことからつけられた。
